Courage and Strength

For the moment before.

Do not fear. He goes with you.

For the moment before the hard thing. A reminder worn close that His strength arrives exactly where yours runs out.

The Story

There is a moment right before the hard thing.

Before the venture you are not sure you can carry. Before the conversation you have been avoiding. Before the treatment, the role, the door you have to walk through feeling far too small for what is on the other side. In that moment the honest truth is that your own strength is not enough. And you know it.

The Courage and Strength collection is made for exactly that moment, and it does something unexpected with it.

It does not tell you to find more strength inside yourself. It tells you the truth: His strength shows up precisely where yours runs out. You are not asked to be brave because you are strong. You are asked to go, because He goes with you, and He is the one who holds you up. The weakness you were ashamed of turns out to be the exact place the power arrives.

So this is not a loud promise. It does not need to shout. It is strength that has nothing to prove, given to the person standing at the edge of the thing they are afraid to do.

This is the promise for the moment before you begin.

Who It's For

Isaiah 41:10 · Joshua 1:9 · 2 Corinthians 12:9

After the picture of being upheld at the edge of something hard, the verses arrive as the hand doing the upholding.

Do not fear, for I am with you; I will strengthen you and uphold you.

Be strong and courageous, for He is with you wherever you go.

And the turn underneath it all: His grace is enough, because His power is made perfect in weakness.

A paraphrase, so the meaning is clear. Final wording pulls from a real Bible source.

If courage is the promise you need today, begin here.

You wear one cross. It carries every promise.

Start with the one you need most today. The others will still be true when you are ready.
