Dear brothers and sisters, praying to God for others is also a part of faith. When we pray for others, we bring God into their lives. However, this act not only benefits those we are praying for, but also increases our own faith and relationships.
Moreover, praying for others is an act of love. It shows that we are deeply concerned about their well-being. When we see our family or neighbors in trouble, we should include them in our prayers. We may not always be able to comfort them, but we can always pray for them. God knows everything, but He also wants us to pray for one another.
We see many examples in the Bible of believers praying for one another. For example, Moses prayed for all of Israel. He prayed for God to protect Israel from His wrath. Later, we see Job praying for his friends. Paul also prayed constantly for the churches and for each believer.
So dear friends, let us commit to lifting each other up in prayer. Let us be steadfast in our prayers and we will believe that God hears our every word because He is faithful. When we pray for others, we give ourselves to God’s work. Moreover, we show the love of Christ.
