Dear friends, when we feel that our lives are falling apart, despair takes hold of our lives. At this time, we feel mentally unbearable. But friends, remember that you are never alone in this situation. The Bible offers us strength and comfort even in our worst times.
The most reassuring thing is that God is and will always be with us. He knows all our troubles and He is always ready to help. Just as He was with Moses when he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Even when you feel helpless, remember that God will never leave you. He will never abandon you. His love will always be steadfast.
Moreover, when we read the story of Job, we understand that he lost everything, such as his wealth, family, and many more. Yet, he remained faithful to God. His story teaches us that in some situations we do not find God’s presence because there is an opportunity to strengthen our faith. This test of Job blessed him beyond imagination. It reminds us that the suffering we are experiencing now will one day be turned into joy by God.
When we are discouraged, we will pray to God more and surrender all our worries to Him. Just as David faced many trials, he always prayed to God. He found peace through prayer.
When we read the story of Joseph, we understand that his brothers sold him and he was unjustly imprisoned. Despite these obstacles, Joseph was faithful to God and God blessed him abundantly.
Finally, trust in God’s timing. So it is imperative that we remember that when our circumstances get very bad, but remember that God is working behind the scenes. He must be thinking of our good.
