Friends, in our daily lives, bad influences and temptations can come to us. This can lead us astray. But if we walk with God, we can push these bad influences and temptations away. We need to be very vigilant about this and constantly seek God’s guidance.
If we read the story of Joseph, we will see that Joseph faced many temptations. When Protifer’s wife tempted him, Joseph fled from there. Similarly, we may face many temptations, but the wisest thing to do is to get out of there. By doing this, we can be saved from our sins.
The example of King Solomon is also very significant. He was known for his divine wisdom. But at one time his heart was also inclined towards other gods. From this we understand that even the wisest people are not free from the temptation of bad influences.
So in the end I want to tell you that we need to live a prayerful life. So that we can stay away from these bad influences and temptations. We need to meditate on the word of God constantly and take help from fellow believers when needed. Then we can save ourselves from our own sins.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about ‘staying away from bad influences and temptation.’
