The Bible instructs us to be humble and patient in our lives. These qualities are not only for our own sake but they indirectly honor God. The Bible tells us to deeply value these things.
Humility is to humble ourselves before God. It means that we are nothing in this world but God is everything. The Lord Jesus told us to show humility throughout our lives. The Lord Jesus, being God, taught us humility. We see that He washed the feet of His disciples and taught us what it means to be humble.
On the other hand, patience is a sign of a calm mind. We should have the ability to endure even in difficult situations. We need to trust in God’s plan and wait for God’s timing. The Bible tells us to be patient during times of suffering. For example, Job faced a lot of hardship. But he had patience with God and later God blessed him abundantly. So we too need to be patient in this way.
So dear Christian friends, it is not easy to bring humility and patience into our lives. But we have to make it a habit. We have to take these qualities with us at every step. Let us try to be humble and patient in our daily lives.
